Who is EnergyBoy and EnergyGirl?
You might have heard the rumors. You might have seen their shadow. You might want to be just like them.
Now YOU can!
Back in the 1970's, the People of Earth, were in search of ways to save energy. Out of an Elementry School Science Program, EnergyBoy and EnergyGirl were born. Little did the parents of the world know, how much energy, children could save. Soon they would find out.
EnergyBoy and EnergyGirl started appearing everywhere. When asked; "What is your Mission?" EnergyBoy and EnergyGirl said: "We are stopping the evil Watts from escaping into the atmosphere. We must fight and win the war on Energy Waste!"
The rest they say is history. Miraculously lights would turn themselves out in empty rooms and outside doors would magically close all on their own. The Parents of the World, couldn't believe one Boy and Girl, could do all this on their own, no matter what Super Power they had.
Of course, the children of the world knew the truth. There weren't just two energy kids but there were thousands. Kids all over the world were stopping the Watts from escaping. Legends started to be heard of children who had stopped 1000's of Watts a day from escaping.
Imagine the Watts that were saved in one small town where just 100 children stopped an average 800 Watts a day from escaping. They were stopping over 80,000 Watts a day from polluting their environment and almost 30,000,000 (that's 30 million) a year.
Well it appears the time is right for EnergyBoy and EnergyGirl to return to the fight.
I wonder if they will be as successful this time, as they were the last.
